Pharmasave Katherine Central to Temporarily Close for Repairs

The Pharmasave Katherine Central Pharmacy will temporarily close its doors from 31 July until 1 November to allow for essential repair works following recent flood damage.

To ensure the Katherine community experiences uninterrupted access to essential healthcare and pharmacy services during this time, we have extended opening hours at Territory Pharmacy Katherine Terrace to include weekend trading.

Additionally, the Katherine Terrace location will expand its retail footprint to stock a wider range of daily essentials.

Sze Lim, Chief Pharmacist emphasised that patient care remains the organisation's highest priority during the rebuild.

"We know how crucial reliable access to medication and healthcare advice is for the Katherine community, and distance should never be the difference when it comes to quality health care," Ms. Lim said.

"While these flood repairs are an unavoidable step in our recovery, we have focused all our efforts on ensuring our patients are well supported at our Katherine Terrace location."

Management sincerely apologises for the inconvenience this temporary closure will cause to local residents and healthcare partners.

The project team is highly optimistic that the repair works will progress quickly and is hopeful the Pharmasave Katherine Central Pharmacy will reopen its doors ahead of the November 1st target.

Community members are encouraged to follow the official Pharmasave Katherine Facebook page for regular progress updates on the repairs and announcements regarding the reopening date.
