Northpharm Announces New Chief Executive Officer
Northpharm has announced the appointment of Pat Hodby as the new Chief Executive Officer to lead a new senior leadership team.
Pat brings enormous market experience, most recently at leading accounting firm Perks where he launched and led the company’s specialised pharmacy advisory business for 25 years. In that role, he was an external advisor to Northpharm for more than a decade.
Northpharm founder Steven Kong will continue to play a critical role in the business as Chief Corporate Officer.
“Northpharm has a proud 20-year history as a trusted provider of quality health care through our hospital and community pharmacy services,” Pat said.
“Those two decades of achievement are now setting us up for the next exciting chapter in our evolution.
“The acquisition of new pharmacies in Broome and Weipa are important because they go to the heart of our commitment to bringing critical health care within reach for every Australian, regardless of where they live.
“It’s what has underpinned our first 20 years of operation and it’s what is driving our growth ambitions.”
Northpharm is also nearing completion of an all-new TGA-standard medication packing facility in Darwin.
“We’re growing from our origins to play an increasingly important role in improving the delivery of medicines and quality health care through continually investing in people, resources, partnerships and technology,” Pat said.
“It’s all about identifying where and how we can do the best for patients across northern Australia, because distance should never be the difference.”
