Appointment of New Board Directors
Northpharm is proud to announce the appointment of four new Board Directors, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the organisation.
The new appointments are a significant step in strengthening Northpharm’s leadership as it continues to expand its mission to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare to regional and remote communities across Australia.
Joining the Board are Dr. Michael Stanford as Chair, along with The Hon. Ken Wyatt AM JP, Nick Dignam, and Sam O'Connor. They join current Board members Chief Executive Officer Pat Hodby and Founder and Chief Corporate Officer Steven Kong.
Dr. Stanford brings a distinguished background in health service leadership, having previously held key roles in some of Australia's largest healthcare providers. His extensive experience will be invaluable in guiding Northpharm’s strategic direction.
The Hon. Ken Wyatt, Australia's first Indigenous federal cabinet minister, offers a unique perspective on community engagement and a deep understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Nick Dignam and Sam O'Connor each bring a strong track record of success in business and governance, rounding out a highly skilled and dynamic Board.
"We are thrilled to welcome such an accomplished group of individuals to our Board," said Pat Hodby, CEO.
"Their collective knowledge and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to grow and serve our communities. With their guidance, we are better positioned to achieve our goal, because distance should never be the difference."
The new Board is set to lead Northpharm into a new era of growth and innovation, further solidifying its position as a leader in regional and remote healthcare.
