Celebrating World Pharmacist’s Day in Jabiru

What a fantastic day we had at the Marrawuddi Arts Centre in Jabiru, celebrating World Pharmacist's Day.

In conjunction with the Red Lily Health Board, we hosted a community event focused on better health in West Arnhem, and it was great to see so many of the local communitycome out to join us.

The air was filled with chatter and laughter as we shared a free cuppa and tucker supplied Deadly Meals on Wheels. It was a wonderful opportunity to have a yarn with community members, and to talk about the importance of pharmacists in our health journey.

From providing advice on medications to answering questions about general health, pharmacists play a crucial role, and this event was a chance to say thank you for their hard work.

The highlight for many was the AFL guernsey giveaway, which was unsurpisingly a Bombers guernsey (the local team is called the Bombers).

We're so proud to be working together for better health in West Arnhem. Events like this remind us of the strength of our community and the importance of coming together to support each other's well-being. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
