Connection to Community Artwork

Northpharm features the artwork 'Connection to Community' by Rochelle Minberrignully Fejo-Tasker , a Larrakia and Warramunga artist.

This artwork, the first of five commissioned for Northpharm, is a tribute to the Garramilla (Darwin) region. It features the Dungalaba (Crocodile), a major totem of the local Larrakia people.

The blue and green colours represent Darwin’s coastal environment, while scattered circles and ‘U’ shapes (people and children) symbolise the communities Northpharm serves. The large central circle signifies the Northpharm Darwin base. Handprints throughout the canvas symbolise the connection to the land and the act of healing.

The artwork is proudly displayed at the Northpharm Head Office in Adelaide.
